I don’t know where the time went, but 18 years ago, on this day, a little baby girl was placed in my arms and it was the most surreal experience in my life.

Since that moment, I found a renewed sense of purpose; I have learned, unlearned grown

On this International women’s day, we look forward to our annual celebration of Black women at the When Sisters Speak Spoken Word Concert.

This year’s celebration will feature @titilope @thasongbird @desireemckenzie @missbrittab @iambarb

When I announced that I was doing another trip to Africa with @travelead.ca this is the crew that stepped forward to join me!

We are having A Time!!
